Rough and Tumble (selected)
“Rough and Tumble” (2014-19) is a series of digital paintings based on cutout therapy dolls that were used to “treat” gender non-conforming children in the 1960s and 70s. The first four images displayed here were published as “Mended Templates Nos. 10, 33, 40, and 6,” in Semiotext(e)’s Animal Shelter 4 (2015), 97-101.
